Infant Program

An Innovative Foundation

Marathon Children and Family Centre provides quality care for infants between the ages of 0 – 18 months. Our Infant Program strives to bring infants, parents and educators together through a progressive method which is referred to as ‘inserimento’ – an Italian term that translates to ‘new beginning’ and ‘transition’.

Creating a welcoming and trusting foundation allows each infant a smooth transition into our centre. Communication is key in ensuring that educators form a confident and mutual relationship with parents and their infants. Staff and parents will engage in daily conversations regarding their infant’s nutritional consumption, nap routine, toileting information, adventures as well as discoveries and first experiences.
